Check with the San Francisco Department of the Environment (SF Environment) Green Business Program. The green business application process is an valuable educational process. Ultimately, a business needs to comply to rigorous standards to become certified. SF Environment has collected some data. I suspect other Bay Area green business programs may have statistical data as well. No resting on your laurels with this program. Certification is only good for three years, then you reapply as we are in the process of doing.
