What do you think of the design challenges being put forward on social design platforms like Open IDEO and Quirky.com? What kind of design challenge would get you inspired to participate? Is there a particular challenge that you think would be worth bringing to Day 1 or Day 2 of Compostmodern?

I’d love to see a mini discussion (something meta) on the role of social design platforms – if not a Design Challenge on the topic itself, some way to discuss what’s working with the platforms and what’s not quite working. Maybe the equivalent of a usability heuristic evaluation on what role platforms have in shaping a community.
