For Kids: A Nutrition Education Publication

by Paul Nini on Monday, July 19, 2010 in Features

Problem:
Childhood obesity numbers are at an all-time high in the United States. For the first time in history, the next generation has a shorter projected lifespan than their parents. Establishing healthy eating habits from a young age is a crucial need, as it will help kids transition into a healthy adulthood.

Objective:
The goal for this project was to design and develop the content, information graphics, and page layouts for a nutrition education workbook. By developing a cohesive visual system that is appropriate and engaging for children ages 8 to 12, healthy eating is encouraged, and a dialogue about nutrition is created between parent and child.
