AIGA Charlotte Presents Eat Your Greens :: Recycling Center Tour. A discussion about sustainable and socially responsible design in Charlotte.

So you have your new jolly green giant bin that allows you to recycle more materials from empty aerosol cans to juice cartons, but where does it all go? Does it just disappear and become a shiny new product for consumption? Find out more about Charlotte’s new recycling program by skipping your lunch break and joining AIGA Charlotte’s Eat Your Greens as we visit The Metrolina Recycling Center. We’ll see how the facility sorts and processes these new recyclables and together discover new innovative methods of incorporating them into our design projects.

Eat your organic lunch early. The hour-long tour begins promptly at 11:30 am (please don’t be late). This event is free and open to all (designers and non-designers are welcome) but space is limited so Register Early and bring along your fellow colleagues.
