Sali Sasaki - 佐々木 沙梨 @salisasaki1 ?
MemberBorn in Yokohama, Japan and raised in Paris, France, Sali Sasaki is a communication designer, researcher, and writer specialized in cities and cultural development.
Between 2004 and 2008 she was the manager of UNESCO's Creative Cities, an international network of 25 cities, from 17 different countries. In 2008, she started freelance collaborations with international organizations in Europe, Asia and North America.
She has recently developed several projects including the Design DNA Workshop for the International Design Center in Nagoya, Cities x Design, a digital publication about 30 mid-sized cities in the United States, and Development x Design, a social research initiative that focuses on design solutions for the real world.
She is also an Ambassador for the INDIGO Indigenous Design Network by ICOGRADA, and a consultant for ICSID.
Sali holds an MA in Communication Design from the Royal College of Art (UK). She is currently based in Paris, France.
