The Sustainable Cotton Project (SCP) is looking for groups of renegade designers to enlist their clients to order Cleaner Cotton TM for promotional T-shirts.
 
SCP has several brands interested in Cleaner Cotton, but it takes time for large companies to pull a new kind of cotton through an “opaque” supply chain. So, SCP is working to get a container-load of cotton processed into final product blank T-shirts, and to make them available to brands and small companies so as to “lubricate” the supply chain.

We would like the design community to help with these guerilla tactics.  Successfully bringing Cleaner Cotton T-shirts to market would speak to the power of collective action and the power of designers coming together to make something happen in spite of the prevailing “logic” of large-scale in the conventional industry. And, it would be a model for similar action regionally.
