Edward Tufte, information design guru and author of The Visual Display of Quantitative Information, Envisioning Information, Visual Explanations, and Beautiful Evidence, has been appointed by President Obama to serve on the panel that advises The Recovery Accountability and Transparency Board and monitors the government’s $787 billion in recovery stimulus funds. Maybe now we will all be able to understand the evidence about where the stimulus money is going.
